Ho anche trovato il thread relativo alla nascita di Mikrokopter. Holger e Ingo bazzicavano nel forum Asctec e da quella esperienza è nato MK. Siamo nel 2006
e questo è il primo mikrokopter della storia. Mentre ad Ivrea andavano al BAR a farsi gli aperitivi

L'avevo letto ma non in modo così approfondito..

volevo provare a costruire un grafico temporale con le tappe principali suddivise in anni. Man mano vorrei postare un elenco che si andrà ad aggiornare e correggere per arrivare ad avere uno "strumento storico" e non perdere completamente le tracce del passato soprattutto del periodo pionieristico condiviso da poche persone..

Suggerirei di aggiungere il Draganflyer III (è quello del mio avatar), che avevo acquistato in kit nel Luglio 2002, e poi fatto volare nell'Agosto dello stesso anno.
Ha una FC con un micro ad 8 bit della famiglia PIC e 3 gyro Murata, ed una RX (in banda 72 MHz) a doppia conversione, compatibile con i vecchi TX Futaba con modulazione PPM-FM.

Aeroquad come detto nel th è da inserire nel 2009. Nel 2010 Multiwii. Mikrokopter nel 2006

Del draganflyer prima versione mi ricordo ma non credevo fosse del 2002

in ogni caso ce ne sono varie mai sentite nominare.. stanotte parlando con persone d'oltreoceano ho scoperto questa scheda per micro che dovrebbe digerire anche taulabs..

ArduCopter is the rotary-wing software for the ArduPilotMega autopilot hardware. It's a creation of the DIY Drones community and the hardware is made by the community's commercial arm, 3D Robotics. Here's the history of the project:

May 2010: Work on ArduCopter began as an extension of the ArduPilot project, the leading open source autopilot (which had until then just been for fixed-wing aircraft). It was kickstarted by combining forces with the team who had developed AeroQuad, a RC multicopter project which, like ArduPilot, was based on the Arduino platform.

Summer 2010: The first few months of this project were focused on achieving solid RC control and basic autonomy, such as altitude hold. However, the goal of all the ArduPilot projects is fully autonomous UAVs, with advanced mission planning and ground station support. That had already been achieved with aircraft in the ArduPlane project, and it became clear that the best approach would be to share as much code as possible with that project, rather than continue to build on AeroQuad.

December 2010: To get to full UAV functionality faster, the DIY Drones dev team decided to take a different approach on ArduCopter, and rebuild it from scratch on the ArduPlane 2.0 codebase, which had much more sophisticated communications and navigation functions. So they handed over further development of ArduCopter 1.0 (NG) to another group, operating in the RCGroups community, which called themselves ArduPirates. While the ArduPirates continued to build on ArduCopter 1.0 (now known as the ArduPirates code), the DIY Drones dev team started work on ArduCopter 2.0.

May 2011: The first beta of ArduCopter 2.0 was released. Rapid development continued over the summer.

November 2011: ArduCopter 2.0 came out of beta. Thanks to the combined work of scores of developers and hundreds of users in the DIY Drones community, in a year and half ArduCopter 2.0 went from inception to becoming the leading open source multicopter UAV system in the world!
