OK boys and girls...heres the latest update....hot off the presses as I just got off the phone w/DJI conference call. Approx 12/9/2013, and again I say approx, the Phantom Vision will be released without the camera. It will come with the ability to install the H3-2D gimbal and have the connections for FPV. But heres the real killer! Along with this DJI will be releasing the Phantom FC40 which is a smaller version of the vision with its own SMART CAMERA coupled with an IOS app. It will have 2.4 ghz, wifi connection with 720 dpi video. Price point is as follows.....$679 for the Vision and $579 for the FC40 version. This is all the info I have that I can release. Dates and prices are approximate but it gives everyone an idea as to whats coming! Stay tuned!
You will be able to buy the Phantom 2 with or without the zenmuse gimbal. Price in euros 589 (without) and 749 (with) - shipping in a couple of weeks.
